Megan Palmer Goulet, RP

Registered Psychotherapist

For over 20 years, Megan (she/her), has been supporting clients in moving from
experiences of discomfort and limitation to those of possibility and choice. With
compassion and insight, she works with clients to free themselves from limiting
patterns to pursue their unique and full potential.

Megan is a Relational Somatic Therapist who addresses client issues on several levels.
At first, what is being experienced right now and how can situations and symptoms be
better managed in the day to day? Then, what are the deeper implications and patterns
at play and how can they be better understood so that life and relationships feel not
only more manageable, but more fulfilling and meaningful?
Therapy is a creative process that engages all aspects of self so that relief will be
experienced on emotional, physical and spiritual planes.

As a Somatic and Trauma-informed therapist, Megan attends to how stress and trauma
are held in the body and can be manifested somatically. The body is both a remarkable
source of information and a necessary part of our healing. Working with Megan will
support clients in expanding their body-centered awareness, to shed unwanted body
and psychological armour and to feel further at ease within themselves.

Megan has recently completed training at the Michener Institute (in partnership with
CAMH and U of T) in Foundations of Psychedelic Psychotherapy and can support
clients in preparation, harm reduction and integration work.
She is currentl completing a diploma program through U of T Continuing
Education in Mindfulness End of Life Care and has a deep interest in existential questions of meaning, purpose and mortality.
